KERFECT rebuilds a traced or choppy cutting outline as clean lines, arcs, and circles. It also shows the detached pieces and thin features that can turn a good-looking drawing into a bad cut.

Use KERFECT after a raster trace, a poor export, or a handoff that leaves you with an over-detailed DXF. It is for cut profiles—not photo illustration, nesting, or CAM toolpath programming.

02 · The workflow
Three deliberate steps. You stay in control of the result.
Drop in the drawing
KERFECT reads the geometry and shows the original profile. Set one real dimension when exact real-world size matters.
Review what will cut
Inspect detached pieces, broken loops, small features, and tabs. Delete what should disappear or bridge what must remain attached.
Smooth and export
KERFECT fits clean geometry within the selected tolerance and gives you a fresh DXF. Build a preview when a 3D part helps you check the result.
03 · What changes
The outline is simplified—not guessed.
KERFECT tests each fit against the traced shape and adds a new segment when the tolerance requires it. The aim is fewer, cleaner moves while retaining the intended contour.
A simple illustration of the job: preserve the contour's intent while removing the unnecessary stops. Your actual before/after geometry remains visible in the viewer.
04 · Cut-readiness checks
Use the viewer to make the manufacturing decisions a converter cannot.

A clean export is not a substitute for checking the part. Verify the dimensions, machine setup, material, and final cut before production.
05 · Outputs and limits
What you can take out
Download a clean DXF for the cutting/CAD workflow. When enabled by the server, DWG is available too. The Build view can export STEP or IGES for a solid-part handoff.
What it does not do
KERFECT does not turn a colour photograph into production art, choose your toolpath, nest parts, or guarantee a safe cut. It improves the geometry before those decisions.
06 · Straight answers
No. You can complete five conversions before account creation is required. A free account raises that to 25 conversions per day during beta.
The drawing is processed to make your result and deleted within an hour. See Terms & Privacy for the current details.
It is most useful when a contour should be smooth but has too many points. A drawing with deliberate tiny detail may need a tighter tolerance or manual review instead.
